Retired LoWs Do Yuma

Yuma, Arizona. In winter it is the best city in America with a year-round population of about 50,000 and in the winter population of 150,000. We moved Lows make this one certainly not in every winter. If you make the next winter more fun, you come to us!

You will not be alone! If you travel to the Foothills area and contact Sheila Harvey for happy hours can be found sitting among others Lows 10 to 25, each from a different station in life. We have a host of former teachers, aLawyer or two, some former nurses, truck drivers, waiters, bartenders, and someone from almost every other profession.

A quick tour of the city will show that Yuma's lettuce! Seriously, they claim to over 90% of the world's winter vegetable crop to achieve! If agriculture is not your bag, take a tour of the Arizona Territorial Prison used in the late l800s. Before taking place, eight small-to-one cell, with the emperature in the 110th It will take you to the returnFarm!

Do you like boating? You can send a boat tour, either up or down the Colorado River. Up-stream, you will find Indian scriptures and ancient mining sites to be found. Down-stream it's a tour of RV parks on
the river and locks and dams that divide the water for agriculture Arizona, Mexico and the city of Yuma.

Still want to explore? A trip to Quartzsite in January and February will surprise you. The village in the summer of less than 1,000 population expanding into a city of hundreds ofThousands
during the rock-dog season.

While in Yuma, I recommend you, Sheila, see about renting a beautiful place in the Foothills area. Some wonderful previous owner of several hundred acres laid it in a trust and dictated that each lot will be surrounded by a Spanish brick wall, plastered with a certain type of white rocks, and have connections for at least three mobile homes on each lot. We all try to find spaces in the vicinity of each other, and we really enjoy a very special social life.

Withoutdo more than it should be, I think the Mexican town of Algodones (south from Yuma) is the best in the border towns, especially if you are looking for affordable eye care, dental treatment or medicine.
